As the daughter of a military service member, relocating was a regular part of life. In 1962, my family settled in Virginia Beach, where we lived in a wonderful neighborhood near the oceanfront. I attended excellent Virginia Beach schools and quickly developed a deep appreciation for the area’s charm.

My passion for real estate began early. As a child, I would convince my mother to drive me around on Sunday afternoons to admire beautiful homes, waterfront properties, and scenic landscapes. It was more than a pastime—it was the beginning of a lifelong calling.

I attended Saint Leo University and worked as a Veterans Administration representative in my early 20s. A conversation with a Master Chief about property values taught me my first real estate lesson: “location, location, location.” That insight stuck with me.

Over the years, I worked as an administrative assistant in several real estate companies and later as a litigation and real estate paralegal for more than 18 years. In 1988, I proudly purchased my first home. The experience was eye-opening—not because of the home itself, but because I realized I could have been better represented. That moment inspired me to earn my real estate license.

Today, I’m proud to serve the Hampton Roads community as a Realtor with Howard Hanna, specializing in residential, commercial, land, military, new homes, and waterfront properties. What I love most about my work is making a difference in people’s lives—helping clients buy their first home, watching their families grow, and guiding them through each new chapter.

Real estate is more than a career for me—it’s a purpose. I’m passionate about helping people from all walks of life find a place they’re proud to call home.
